The death of a parent is a profound and life-altering experience. This 6-week group offers a supportive space to share your grief, honor your parent’s memory, and connect with others who understand the unique pain of this loss. Each session will be held as a ritual space—an intentional, therapeutic container designed to support presence, reflection, and meaning-making, drawing on poetry, storytelling, creative expression, and deep listening. Together we will explore themes such as identity and family role changes, coping with waves of grief, planning for anniversaries, and secondary losses.
This group supports you in making space for the complex emotional responses that often follow the loss of a parent, without pressure to resolve or move past them. One of the most transformative aspects of the group setting is being witnessed in your grief by others, having your experience validated and normalized, and feeling less alone.
In order to foster safety and intimacy, this group is limited to 8 participants. We will meet weekly (online) for 6 consecutive weeks. For the best experience possible, it’s recommended to plan to attend all 6 sessions.
